About Me

I'm Adam, a 25 year old from South London with a BSc (Hons) Information Systems degree. From a young age I have always had a keen interest in music, learning to play the keyboard and flute in primary school and even singing in the end of year musical.

I continued on to secondary school where I performed in many concerts and studied music at GCSE. I then progressed on to college, where I studied A Level Music Technology for 2 years. After finishing college, I went on to putting what I had learnt into practice; writing and producing my own songs from scratch.

At college I used the music production software Cubase, but now I use Logic Pro 9. I love vintage analogue synthesizers and I own a Nord Lead 2, Yamaha DX7, MicroKORG, KORG MS20-mini, M-AUDIO Venom, Korg Poly 800, Prophet 08 and a Roland Juno-G workstation. Additionally I own a Fender Jazz bass and an electric guitar.

I am passionate about all kinds of music, especially artists who write and make their own music. I believe it is vitally important for musicians to appreciate and be aware of all kinds of music, and you should never shy away from your influences. I absolutely love 70s and 80s music, even though I was born in the 90s! But there is one band that particularly inspires and influences my music greatly, The Killers.

I also enjoy the music of others such as Labrinth, Keane, Take That, Coldplay, Muse, MGMT, La Roux, CHVRCHES, Lady GaGa, Queen, ELO, New Order, Michael Jackson and many more.
